OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Since we are Spirit-filled Christians we believe that our our Mission is to “join Christians together to connect  people to Jesus Christ through evangelism and discipleship.”    Our Mission Statement finds its roots and authority in the Great Commission given by Jesus to all Christian believers:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded   you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”            (Matthew 28:19,20 –NKJV).

EARLY BEGINNINGS

MissionEvangelism began to take final shape in 1999 when Dr. Jones was invited to participate in an evangelistic crusade in the deserts of northern Kenya, Africa.

The crusade was so successful that Dr. Jones began making plans to bring into being the birth of MissionEvangelism for the purpose of preaching and demonstrating the Good News of Christ’s love to the masses in other poor regions of the world.   Dr. Jones and the MissionEvangelism Team immediately turned their attention toward the poor countries of the Caribbean such as Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and the countries within Central America such as Jamaica and Honduras.

APPALACHIA REGION

More recently the Team has enlarged its ministry into the Appalachia region in  North America.   Plans are underway to conduct Music and Good News Festivals beginning as early as the Fall of 2002 and thereafter.
